TriEvergreen 2018/Multisport Conditioning at Evergreen Park and Recreation District

Hi, friends.  I am coaching two winter/spring group training programs at Evergreen Park and Recreation District in 2018. Registration for these classes opens on November 29th. Space is limited so please register early!

MultiSport Conditioning which is a 12 week program which takes place on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday mornings starting Tuesday January 9, 2018.  It runs through Saturday, April 8, 2018. The focus of this program is on strength, conditioning (endurance and speed/agility) and flexibility.  It is not triathlon specific.  It is athletic performance focused so will carry over to your strength and endurance in any activity but if you are a triathlete, it is hugely beneficial for youe endurance and strength on the swim/bike/run.  Basically, it is how I train in my off season so that I am ready to hit my training hard and prevent injury when it’s time to pick up my swim/bike/run volume leading into race season.  Added bonus?  We have fun, develop friendships, motivate each other, have accountability and consistency for 3 solid months which is beneficial not only physically but also emotionally!  To register for this program, you can register here: Multisport Conditioning

TriEvergreen is also available this Spring 2018 but I have a minimum requirement of 6 athletes to run this year’s program since it is more time intensive for me to coach this program on top of coaching my personal Mile High Multisport athletes leading into race season.  I want to reassure everyone that this program is available to everyone. I have had athletes who have taken this training to focus on greater bike and run strength and better technique but were not necessarliy interested in racing.  That is absolutely fine. You can use this program as you feel you need it.  Swim training and technique coaching is not included in this program.  I offer that individually at a separate cost or you can join Evergreen Masters Swim Team or take Becky Browne’s stroke class over at Wulf.  During our three sessions together, I work on your cycling, running and functional strength.  I also build a 12 week training plan for you leading into a sprint distance triathlon. In the past, we have raced the Colorado Triathlon together the first weekend in June.  I also include clinics on “Triathlon/Duathlon 101”, training/racing nutrition, transitions, bike maintenance, etc. Once again, this program focuses on setting my athletes up for success in their training through accountability, consistency, teamwork, fun and friendship. TriEvergreen will meet on the same schedule as last year- Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10:30-11:30 am to accommodate for my early morning cycling classes already on the schedule at EPRD. I am also available for individual training and triathlon/cycling/run coaching.  Please e-mail me at courtneyculligan@yahoo.com for more information on one-on-one sessions and training plans. Or, visit my coaching page at Mile High Multisport.
